The Lion, the King of the Jungle, is taking his royal snooze when a mouse comes on a safari to his royal hideaway. The mouse is from Bungling Brothers Circus, and his mission is to take back to the states as a circus act. The mouse then goes about his business of capturing the lion. At the fadeout, back in the USA, the lion of performing on a precarious tight-rope, high above the arena sawdust, while the mouse whip lashes him.

Half-Pint, a stage-struck baby circus elephant, is forever getting into and messing up somebody's act. Although the ringmaster thinks he is too young to perform, Half-Pint cannot resist the applause of the crowd, and is continually turning up in the center-ring in impromptu acts which are not part of the circus-manager's plan. He joins the band making music with his trunk; performs as a unicycle artist, and generally disrupts the execution of the show.

Andy Panda goes to the circus, and the circus turns into a circus where a girl aerialist is rescued by her own false teeth; the acrobats and jugglers mangle each other; a girl trapeze artist loses her wig as a rope-spinning act goes haywire; and the drunken high-wire walker finds himself surrounded by pink elephants.

Betty Boop est artiste de cirque. Dans ce court, elle est d'abord dompteur de lions puis funambuliste. Elle se fait harceler sexuellement par le directeur du cirque mais sera finalement sauvée par le clown. Boop-oop-a-doop !

A nouveau dans un cirque, Betty Boop est organiste dans ce court. Le cirque est ici une salle d'exposition ou de nombreuses inventions sont présentées par notre charmante hôtesse : une machine à laver qui fait des trous plutôt qu'elle ne lave, une machine avec un pied qui écrase les cigarettes, une autre qui prépare des omelettes dès la ponte de la poule, et d'autres toutes aussi inutiles et stupides mais drôles

Nos deux compères sont artistes dans un cirque en passe de faire faillite. Ils sont payés en nature c'est ainsi que Stan reçoit un lot de puces savantes et Ollie un singe dressé. Les problèmes surgissent lorsqu'il s'agit de cohabiter avec cette "ménagerie" dans un appartement dont le règlement de copropriété interdit tout animal.
